My journey into tech wasn't a straight line
I studied Computer Software Engineering at Vietnam National University and graduated with a 3.94 GPA. Somewhere between algorithms and software architecture, I became just as interested in how software feels as in how it works.
That pulled me into UX. I spent two years at Terralogic, researching fintech and enterprise workflows, designing and testing more than 20 high-fidelity prototypes, and working directly with product owners and engineers. The handoff taught me where good product ideas can get diluted. I wanted enough technical control to carry the experience all the way into the shipped product.
I moved to Canada to study Web Development at Conestoga College. I built an EdTech platform for a freelance client and now work on Vox, a Story-based approach to explaining the context behind a public post. My projects also include a Go fintech sandbox and a local desktop tool for repository setup. I still approach software with a designer's eye, then carry that thinking into the code.
