My journey into tech wasn't a straight line
It began with a childhood fascination
with web applications, which led me to earn my B.S. in Computer Science with a 3.94 GPA. However, during those years of logic and algorithms, I fell in love with the
aesthetics of software.
I pivoted into the creative side, spending two years as a UI/UX Designer at Lollypop Design Studio. There, I conducted user research and designed high-fidelity prototypes that improved stakeholder approval rates by 40%. But as I watched my designs get handed off to developers, I often saw the user experience get lost in translation. I realized that optimizing information architecture on a canvas was not enough; to truly control the end-to-end experience, I needed to build it myself.
I decided to moved to Canada and pursue a Graduate Certificate in Web Development at Conestoga College. Today, I am a meticulous developer fluent in logic and aesthetics. I combine the design thinking I honed at Lollypop with the robust technical skills I’ve mastered.
